Matata shows potential as a good spot...

We hope to get a waveriding video out before the end of summer! - it will most likely be quite short however.

Hey

Im Sam, I  skimboard whenever i can usually in the holidays, i'd like to get into it alot more. Living in Auckland im 14 i love boarding, i longboard, skim, skate everything. I usually just skim around shorebreaks, sort of wave riding but not really haha. Just love to skim. I currently use a Redback, my 2nd haha. But i have a Nemo board which is pretty heavy and i prefer a nice light board.I also have broken my arm skimboarding but that'd never turn me away. I have skimmed at Pauanui, Matarangi,Omaha,Tairua up north near matapouri anywhere where the fambam goes.

Well I'm kinda going off flatland and more into waveriding. If you're ever in the coromandel, give me  a buzz, and I'd be keen to give you as many tips as i can for waveriding... especially if you're in Waihi/Waihi beach as Orokawa Bay there is the best beach i've been to yet, personally. If you need my mobile number, personal message me here on nzskim forum or email me (sam@nzskimboarding.com).

Central Skimboards has some seriously good stuff coming up, so keep an eye on them as I would highly recommend switching from redback to Central skims for waveriding. (www.centralskimboards.com)

Anyway... welcome to the forum bro.
